These laser rangefinder binoculars, aimed squarely at the hunting market, provide the user with the ballistic distance, including the necessary compensation for the angle of shot. However, they don’t measure temperature, air pressure or other parameters, nor do they feature a ballistic computer.
If you are a hunter who uses a telescopic sight with an elevation turret, the only information needed is the ballistic distance. You can’t use the data from the Swarovski rangefinders to calculate holdover, however, nor to calculate how many clicks are needed to adjust your sights for an accurate shot. Many hunters don’t need this information, which makes these Swarovskis a good choice, as there are fewer possibilities of making an error in “the heat of battle”.
The optics and ergonomics are both excellent, hardly surprising with these binoculars produced by Swarovski. •
